Discount Airfare to London, England
Fareline International offers great flight deals on airline tickets
to London. Our discount airfare ensures that you fly to London for a lot
less, leaving you time and money to spend seeing the sites. London, the
capital of England has a population of approx 60 million and has a land
mass slightly smaller than Oregon. It boasts a wealth of culture, history
and wonderful architecture.

This is a very popular destination, especially from New York. Most
of the airlines have service at least 3 times per day to either London
Heathrow (LHR) or London Gatwick (LGW). Try to get a window seat when
you book your reservation, so you can see some of the landmarks just
prior to landing, like the River Thames, the London Eye and the somewhat
controvertial Millenium Dome. Fareline can provide discount airfare
with major US carriers, just make sure you book early as our deals
sell-out quickly!

London has a wide array of accommodation options, from budget to luxury
hotels. We have a large number of hotels available where space is
guaranteed and available at discounted rates. Our hotels range from
the 2 star Hyde Park West, through to the beautiful five star Raffles
Brown's Hotel near Picadilly Circus.

Take a riverboat cruise down the River Thames. See London Bridge,
Tower Bridge, the changing of the guard at Buckingham Palace, Westminster
Cathedral, Kew Gardens, Madamme Tusauds, St James Palace, Picadilly
Circus, Trafalgar Square, Big Ben, The London Dungeons, The Millenium
Dome, The London Eye, The Houses of Parliament and much, much more.
For about $20 you can take a tour in an open top double decker bus
where a guide will point out many of London's attractions. This is
one of the best ways to get the whirlwind tour if you're short on
time. |

London has a huge array of restaurants providing cuisine from all
corners of the globe. Central London has a very well laid out China
Town with a wall of Asian restaurants to choose from and if you know
where to look, there are some very nice isolated gourmet restaurants,
managed by well known restauranteurs and stars such as Michael Kane.
And if you're searching for some creature comforts, there's always
Planet Hollywood! |

Kensington, Oxford/Bond Street areas, Camden Market, Leicester Square,
Tottenham Court Road are great areas to shop. Although don't go there
expecting to buy discount jeans, as they're typically priced 2 or
3 times that in the US. However, art, fashionable clothes, trinkets
and all things typically British are well worth hunting for. |

Catch a black cab, call a private car, take a bus, catch a train or
take the tube (that's what they call the subway). There's a whole
range of options available if you do not wish to rent a car. And if
you're only staying within the city of London, you can pretty much
survive without a rental car, especially since parking is pretty expensive.
Just make sure that you plan with lots of extra time, as you may have
to wait in line for busses and trains. The tube is much cleaner than
New York's subway system, just remember to try and avoid traveling
during rush hour and mind the gap! |
